I chose Burscough FC Academy because I saw that it had the right pathway for me to improve and also get opportunities with the First Team. It's definitely been the right decision for me, as I'm really enjoying it and I'm now motivated to break into the First Team regularly.

When I found out I was signing for the First Team, I was really happy because my hard work had been recognised. It meant that I would have the chance to show the manager what kind of player I am.

For me, representing the First Team while still being an Academy player is an honour, as it's a big step in my football career. It shows me that I'm doing things right and that I'm getting opportunities to prove what I can offer. Before starting at the Academy, one of my main aims was to get chances with the First Team, so actually signing for them means a lot to me.

The First Team management and senior players have been really welcoming and supportive, both on and off the pitch. They've made me feel part of the team straight away. The management have supported me since I joined the Academy and have given me opportunities to show what I can do, both in training sessions and when I played against Chorley FC in a friendly.

The Academy coaches have already helped me improve my footballing ability. They put on good training sessions that help me and my teammates develop, and they're always giving me advice on what I need to work on. During matches, they also guide me on what I could do differently or when I need to change something in my game.

My most memorable moment at the club so far was coming on against Chorley FC in the friendly. It meant a lot because the coaches believed in me and trusted that I could compete at First Team level.

If you're a Year 11 student thinking about joining Burscough FC Academy, I'd say it's a great opportunity to develop as both a footballer and a person. If you want to progress through the football leagues, this is a great place to start because you're playing at a good level of football.

You also get to meet new people who have the same passion and ambition for football as you, and you can build really good friendships. It helps you grow in confidence, both as a person and as a player.

If you come here, work hard and show the First Team manager what you're capable of, you could get opportunities with the First Team, and when those chances come, you need to take them.

I chose Burscough FC Academy after high school because I wanted to carry on my journey in football, but also gain an education and qualification at the same time. Luckily enough, that was the exact thing Burscough FC Academy was offering, which made me choose them.

It was a bit of a shock when I found out I was signing for the First Team because we hadn't been going to the college for long, and to hear that they wanted to sign me shocked me.

It's an honour to represent the First Team while also being an Academy player because it shows that the club has faith in me, that I can play at that level and improve as a player. It also shows other people that they can get into the First Team, and maybe people in Year 11 may choose Burscough as their college because they can see we're getting these opportunities.

The First Team players and staff have been very welcoming to me, which has made me feel more comfortable within the team. They support me on the pitch and in training by trying to help me improve, but also by motivating me.

The Academy coaches have helped a lot, as they put on training sessions catered to us, which help us improve much more. This means people like the First Team manager can see us improving and give us these chances.

My most memorable moment at the club so far is making my debut against South Liverpool in the cup.

One thing I would say to a Year 11 student who is considering joining us at Burscough is that the club is very together and supportive. Throughout the club, from the staff to the First Team, you have people trying to support you whenever they can. This club is also very tight-knit, which makes you feel welcome straight away. I think that makes Burscough FC Academy the best option for you.

I chose Burscough FC Academy after leaving school because I love football, and when I heard there was going to be an opportunity where I could play it every day, I was always going to take it.

When I found out I was signing for the First Team, I felt really happy and excited to play alongside them, as they're a great group of lads and excellent footballers.

For me, representing the First Team while also being an Academy player is a really big opportunity to progress as a footballer, as I'm getting the best training and development from both sides.

The Burscough FC First Team welcomed me in and made me feel part of the team straight away. Being one of the youngest players, the players and staff have definitely pushed me to become a better footballer, and they're always looking out for me.

The Academy coaches have really helped me develop because we're training every day and working on different things each day. I've been injured for over a month now, but I can't wait to get back playing soon.

My most memorable moment at the club so far was during pre-season when I made my debut for the First Team. I came off the bench and scored two goals!

One thing I would say to a Year 11 student considering joining the Academy is that everything about it is brilliant. The opportunities you get, the players and the staff are all just class. If you love football, Burscough FC Academy would be a brilliant choice for you.
