Day One. Done.
And what a way to start.
The lads worked incredibly hard today and set the standard from the very first session.
New surroundings, new teammates and a completely new chapter after leaving high school — but they got stuck in from the minute they arrived.
There's a lot of hard work ahead, plenty to learn and some brilliant opportunities waiting for this group both on and off the pitch.
"It's been a brilliant first day. The lads came in, rolled their sleeves up and set the tone straight away — you could see the excitement and the willingness to work from the very first session."
"This is only the beginning and there's plenty to build on, but if today is anything to go by we've got a really special group here. I'm looking forward to helping them develop, on and off the pitch, over the year ahead."
If day one is anything to go by, we're in for a great year.
